College & Career Readiness

Our goal is to prepare youth for future success. When we say college, we think about it as any post-secondary aspiration a youth has including 2 year programs, 4 year degrees, technical school, certification program, military service, and faith service.

Youth City Council

We envision a city where every young person has a voice in community decisions, a hand in serving their neighbors, and the skills to lead with purpose and impact. 9th - 12th graders who live in South Salt Lake are encouraged to apply.

Family Support

Our Family Liaisons work alongside families to connect them with resources, services, and opportunities that support their goals and well-being. They help families navigate systems, reduce barriers, and access the support they need.

  • "Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists they become the best they can possibly be."

  • “I’m so thankful for what Promise does for me and my kids and other families. The summer program has been a huge help and weight off our backs every year. We would be struggling to find childcare if it wasn’t there, and the cost of paying for it would also be another weight to have to worry about too."
